Our Objectives
The Major Objectives of the NSCIG are but not limited to the following:
- Generate accurate data on citizens’ needs in social empowerment & infrastructure in the areas of health, education, agriculture and other economic activities at all levels.
- Identify the predominant economically productive sectors in each of the LGAs thereby creating entrepreneurial and job opportunities for all stakeholders.
- Advocate for solutions to citizens identified needs in line with government programs.
- Determine ways of reducing social vices through citizens engagement.
Drafted survey questions as field instruments is to address the disconnect between the government and the citizenry through a national survey on citizens inclusion in governance and government empowerment programmes
Deploy and administer survey questionnaire in all the 774 Local Government Areas of the federation and the six (6) area council of F.C.T
Establish, for once, what Nigerians truly desire and expect as dividends of democracy
Collate and analyse responses from the field in such a manner as to show divergent views, the wants and needs from different parts of the country
To change the narratives on how to approach Nigerians on basic infrastructures, social amenities, intervention programmes and job creation.
